ASILE ALIÉNÉ

Alienated Asylum emerges from a period of solitude and distance, where the body becomes a space of refuge, tension and escape.

Through drawing, collage and fragments of intimate photography, I compose discontinuous scenes in which female bodies, objects, plants, bones and organic forms coexist within an undefined space.

Gestures, fragmented bodies and displaced elements translate an intimate experience shaped by memory, melancholy and the search for a refuge that remains unreachable.

The female body appears simultaneously as a personal and anonymous figure, carrying individual experiences that can extend toward those of other women. The series becomes a mental cartography, where drawing and collage allow intimate

fragments to be displaced, superimposed and transformed into a space between memory, imagination and reality.
